How to hide an exchange mailbox from the address book in Outlook.
AD Synced objects
Open Active Directory Users & Computers
Turn on advanced features,
Search for the user
Open user properties > Go to Attribute Editor
Change msExchHideFromAddressLists attribute to "TRUE"
Exchange (not synced to AD)
From the exchange admin center, edit the mailbox, and tick the Hide from address lists field.
Changes take effect
The offline address lists is generated once a day, and Outlook automatically refreshes it every 24 hours or so. So please be aware that these changes won’t be instant.
